Carlos Aguado San José
Director
Carlos holds a degree in Economic and Business Sciences, specializing in Economic Development and International Economics, and a diploma in Foreign Trade. He completed postgraduate studies at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Merrimack College, North Andover, Massachusetts. He also holds an Executive MBA from EOI and a Master’s in Education from the Complutense University of Madrid.
Throughout his career in economics and business, he has balanced his professional work with a strong commitment to education. During his time in the United States, he served as Activities Supervisor at the Phillips Academy Community Center in Andover and was a professor at the prestigious Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, during 1994 and 1995. He also provided private Spanish lessons to students at Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire, during these two years.
In Spain, he continued his teaching and international business management career. He taught Marketing and Human Resources at business schools, including ISFE-Instituto Superior de Formación de Empresa and Know How Business College in Burgos. He was also a professor of International Marketing at ESERP Business School in Madrid. Since 2011, he has been the Director of INESLE.
Myriam Medrano Pascual
Director
Myriam holds a degree in Philosophy and Arts, specializing in Geography and History, from the University of Valladolid. She pursued doctoral studies in Social Sciences and Education, and completed her academic training with the prestigious Educational Leadership Program at Villanueva University Center, part of the Complutense University of Madrid.
In Spain, she has been teaching since 1988, covering all educational levels, including university, high school, secondary, primary, and adult education. On an international level, she has coordinated European Tempus and Erasmus programs in collaboration with various European universities.
Myriam also spent six years teaching at renowned American institutions, including Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire and Phillips Academy. This experience, along with her coordination of exchange programs between British and American schools, laid the groundwork for the creation of the INESLE Institute, recognized for its high-quality Spanish language instruction for international students.
In 2004, Myriam became the founding director of the Spanish Institute of Burgos (INESBU). From 2007 to 2015, she served as the language programs coordinator at Fomento de Centros de Enseñanza. For over nine years, she taught Didactics of Social Sciences at Villanueva University Center.
In recent years, she has expanded her career into the field of Human Resources at Aquinas American School in Pozuelo de Alarcón. She is currently part of the management team as HR/Personnel Manager at Brewster Madrid.
